Cookies and localStorage
The code in these pages does not create HTTP cookies. “Close and remember” uses localStorage, a separate browser storage mechanism. This code does not attach the stored value to requests to a server.
| Key and value | Purpose and duration |
|---|---|
kaxixstam_notice_v1Value: seen | Remember closure of the notice. No programmed expiry; kept until you remove it or the browser clears it. |
Available choices
- Close and remember: saves the preference and closes the notice.
- Close without saving: closes the current notice without writing a new preference. It may appear again when you reload or open another page.
- Storage preference: the footer button reopens the notice.
Remove the saved preference
This button removes only the key used by this notice. You can also clear site data through your browser settings.
If browser storage is blocked, an attempt to save displays a message. You can still close without saving.
Opening files on your computer
When opening HTML files directly, localStorage behaviour depends on the browser and may vary between pages. Pages published under the same origin share that origin’s localStorage. The code does not synchronise your choice across devices.
Other services and hosting
The workshop meeting platform is arranged separately and is not embedded in this website. This page describes the supplied website files; any functions added by a hosting environment should be reviewed against their actual behaviour. See Privacy for more information.
